Join us for our inaugural CT Craft Beer Grand Prix Competition! The Connecticut Craft Grand Prix is the first and only professional beer competition run and organized by the Connecticut Brewers Guild to showcase the outstanding quality and variety of Connecticut craft beer and the brewers that make them!
Taking place at Lime Rock Park, Sunday May 29, 12 pm – 5 pm, enjoy over 40 local Connecticut breweries all in one place! This event is unlike any other, breweries will be entering their beers into 15 different categories competing for medals, but we will need your help for the people’s choice award!
Your ticket includes unlimited samplings from all participating breweries, live music, and games. Food Trucks will be on site for additional purchases. Parking/Entry for Beer Grand Prix through Lime Rock Park Outfield Gate.
Car Show tickets must be purchased separately.
About The Fest:
For our inaugural competition, a planning committee of brewers and experienced beer judges from across the state have developed 15 medal categories. Each category contains a variety of BJCP and Great American Beer Festival defined sub-styles to allow participating breweries to best match and categorize their entries.
Over the course of the next few months, we’ll be collecting and judging hundreds of CT beers from across the state. Certified BJCP judges will be selecting a gold, silver, and bronze medal for each of our 15 beer categories. On Sunday, May 29th at Lime Rock Park we’re bringing all these judged beers to you, where you’ll be able to sample, judge, and enjoy them yourself! That day, we’ll be announcing the winners of each beer category live in person! Our breweries will be coming on stage, raising their medals up high and celebrating the incredible craft beer in our state. That’s not all…you will be able to select your favorite overall beer that day and we’ll be announcing the “People’s Choice Winner” as well!
