Grand-Am Rolex Series featuring Daytona Prototypes, May 28-31, 2010
For the first time ever, Grand-Am’s exciting Rolex Daytona Prototypes come to Lime Rock! The traditional Memorial Day season-opener will showcase the DPs and GTs in a combined-class race on Monday. On Saturday, the BMWs, Fords, Chevys, Hondas and Porsches in the Continental Tire Challenge will trade paint, along with the fantastically competitive Ford Racing Mustang Challenge series and the equally close Cooper Tires Presents the Atlantic Championship Powered by Mazda (support race to be announced).
NASCAR Doubleheader: K&N Pro Series & Whelen Modifieds, July 2-3, 2010
The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour is coming to Lime Rock Park for the first time ever, joining the K&N Pro Series race weekend! NASCAR made K&N Pro Series its primary driver-development series in 2007, which means you get to see tomorrow’s Sprint Cup stars bangin’ fenders today. Meanwhile, the Whelen Tour has not held a road-course race since 2000! The 625 h.p., 2,500 lb., 150 m.p.h. modifieds will run Lime Rock’s 1.53-mile circuit in the traditional clockwise direction and will surely put on a great show. PLUS, the rejuvenated SCCA Pro Racing Trans-Am Series promises even more great action!
American Le Mans Northeast Grand Prix, July 23-24, 2010
The new date for ALMS at Lime Rock is July 23-24. The ultra-sophisticated Le Mans prototypes and GT cars are wicked fast – and famous for their cutting edge designs and use of the latest in “green” technology. At Lime Rock for the seventh consecutive year, the ALMS Northeast Grand Prix will see Le Mans Prototype (LMP), Le Mans Prototype Challenge (LMPC), Grand Touring (GT) and Grand Touring Challenge (GTC) duking it out – probably down to the last few laps, as usual! Support series include the Cooper Tires Presents the Atlantic Championship Powered by Mazda, the F2000 Championship Series (official development series of USF1), and the IMSA Lites Championship Presented by Frisby Performance Tire.
